Pakistan elections 2018 - get up to speed with these academic resources

Here are some links to  good academic resources about the July 2018 elections.

Election Commission of Pakistan official website has news and election results (from 1970 onwards) These cover the regulation and operation of the elections.
Democracy Reporting International  has produced a useful basic guide for journalists which lists the regulations, media coverage outlets and has links to key documents.

Election Observers
These websites sumarise the conditions in which the elections were conducted
European Union election observation of the conduct of the elections.
Commonwealth
FAFEN - Fair and Free Election Network Pakistan has an election monitor and discussion of the conduct of the elections on its website
Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability has a long term elections oversight project which monitors democracy and conduct.
Aurat Foundation Pakistan election awareness and monitoring cell.
Centre for Civic Education has voter literacy campaigns and assessments - see this pre-election briefing.
Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives is monitoring the election procedures. publications include an accessibility audit of polling stations. They also co maintain a MyVote voter education site with facts intended for the general public
Human Rights Commission of Pakistan has annual reports and news on human rights
